With only a few weeks remaining, the regular season is almost over, and the NFL Playoffs are now almost here. A lot of teams, from the Tennessee Titans to the Cleveland Browns, have already been eliminated, but there is also another side to the coin, as several teams may be able to clinch a playoff spot this week.
For Week 15, there are three teams that may be able to seal their playoff spot, and it is not as simple as just winning a game, as several other things must also happen. If these teams lose, there are also other scenarios that can happen that would get them a guaranteed playoff spot after Week 15 concludes.
3 Teams That May Clinch An NFL Playoff Spot After Week 15
Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos are on top of the AFC with 11 wins and two losses. All they have to do to get to the playoffs is to either win or get a tie. That is easier said than done, as their next opponents will be the Green Bay Packers, which is red-hot right now. They do have the home field advantage in this matchup though, but winning would be preferable.
Should they tie the Packers, they better hope that the Los Angeles Chargers lose to the Kansas City Chiefs or the Jacksonville Jaguars lose to the New York Jets. They could also move on from a tie if the Houston Texans lose or tie against the Arizona Cardinals or the Indianapolis Colts lose or tie against the Seattle Seahawks.
Los Angeles Rams
The Rams are currently the best team in the NFC and they have the easiest path to the NFL Playoffs, as they just have to win at home. That is easier said than done, as their next opponents will be the Buffalo Bills, a team also fighting for a playoff spot, so they would not go down without a fight.
New England Patriots
The No. 2 team in the AFC, they are also 11-2 and have a bit of a complicated way to get a playoff spot, much like the Broncos. They just have to beat the Buffalo Bills at home, but in the event of a tie, they need either the Chargers, Texans, Jaguars or Colts to lose their Week 15 games.
