“NFL Rigged As F*ck”: Fans Lash Out as Jaguars TE Brenton Strange Sidelined With Mysterious Injury vs Chiefs

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange is receiving a lot of backlash for his sudden setback during his team’s most recent game. On Monday, Oct. 6, Strange and the rest of Liam Coen’s Jaguars faced Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs in their Week 5 matchup of the 2025 NFL season on the former’s home pitch, EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida.

However, to the surprise of many, Strange was sidelined for the second half due to an undisclosed injury. It’s not known when exactly the 24-year-old suffered the injury, but he did play throughout the first half of the intense affair. He did not return to the game.

Football fans online were not too happy with Strange going out with a sudden injury at halftime, as it messed up their bets.

“Brenton Strange hurt after halftime???? NFL rigged as f*ck, bruh, I’m done with this sport,” one fan questioned.

“Brenton Strange is hurt and I need him for eight more yards,” another fan captioned with a GIF of a man drinking liquor.

“Is FanDuel gone void Brenton Strange? @FanDuel,” another user pleaded.

“Literally about to lose this sh*t ’cause Brenton Strange got hurt 😫,” a user said with an emoji.

Other X users looked at the bigger picture as they were quick to find solutions for his loss to the Jaguars.

“Brian Thomas Jr. legit saved me after that fake Brenton Strange injury,” one fan wrote.

“Can we get an overtime and throw Brenton Strange back in 😒,” another fan shared.

“Seeing how many people are desperate for Brenton Strange to be voided, I’m convinced his 25+, 30+ yards was rigged,” a fan pointed out.

It is unclear what Strange’s injury is, but he will surely try and make a comeback in the next Jaguars‘ game in Week 6, which is against the Seattle Seahawks at home, on Sunday, Oct. 12. Strange is in his third campaign in the NFL after he was drafted by Jacksonville with the 61st overall pick in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
