NFL Announces Fine For Steelers’ $132,000,000 Star Following Bizarre Incident

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf was recently hit with a fine for unsportsmanlike conduct in his team’s most recent game. For Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season, coach Mike Tomlin’s Steelers took on coach Matt LaFleur’s Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Oct. 26, at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

In an X post by sports reporter Tom Pelissero on Saturday, Nov. 1, it was revealed that Metcalf, whose contract with the Steelers is worth $132 million, as per Celebrity Net Worth, will receive a $12,172 fine for running into Packers linebacker Quay Walker during the game.

It was no ordinary sequence, as the video shows Metcalf poking his fingers in Walker’s eyes.

Luckily for Metcalf, he hasn’t been suspended. Nevertheless, the Steelers lost 35-25 after a huge fourth quarter (21-6) sealed the deal for the Packers from a nip-and-tuck affair through the first three periods. Pittsburgh fell to an overall record of 4-3, good for the No. 1 seed in the AFC North.

DK Metcalf Posts Bible Verse On His Instagram Story

On Friday, Oct. 31, DK Metcalf took to his Instagram story to upload a verse from the Holy Bible, Matthew 7:4, 11. It seems as though he is seeking peace after the sequence with Quay Walker that fetched him a fine.

“People with kind and tender hearts are magnets not only to P those they love, but to all they encounter. Everyone, no matter how crusty or gruff, craves love and encouragement. When we demonstrate our love for others through the kind acts of a caring heart, we begin to build a relationship, a sense of confidence and security, and a foundation of trust that will not easily be broken. That will then enable us to share the love and light of our Lord,” the excerpt read.

Metcalf is aiming to add an elusive Super Bowl title to his resume, as he could not accomplish this in his first six years with the Seattle Seahawks. He now hopes to with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
