NFL Fantasy Football Injury Tracker Week 12: All We Know About Key Stars’ Status Ft. Aaron Rodgers

The NFL is back in action this weekend with Week 12. The length of the season is taking its toll on the teams, with a plethora of injuries plaguing the league. This week, several teams faced issues with their signal-callers, in particular.

Here’s this week’s list of the most impactful injuries in the NFL.

    Week 12 Injury Report

Aaron Rodgers – QB (Pittsburgh Steelers)

Arguably the most important injury on this list, Rodgers suffered a non-surgical fracture to his left wrist during Sunday’s victory against the Cincinnati Bengals. The injury doesn’t require surgery, but he didn’t practice on Wednesday, and he’s questionable for this weekend. It seems that everything is down to Rodgers’s ability to play with a protective brace, as the quarterback has said that he wants to play.

Josh Jacobs – RB (Green Bay Packers)

Josh Jacobs is recovering from a knee contusion, suffered during Green Bay’s win over the Giants in Week 11. Coach Matt LaFleur has declined to rule Jacobs out for this weekend, although he didn’t join practice on Wednesday. He’s considered a “day-to-day” issue. Emanuel Wilson is expected to pick up the slack if Jacobs isn’t ready.

Joe Burrow – QB (Cincinnati Bengals)

Joe Burrow suffered a toe turf injury early in the season, and since then, he hasn’t been participating in football activities. But for the first time in weeks, this Wednesday, he joined practice. While some expect him to play this weekend, coach Zac Taylor seemingly tempered expectations by saying that they’re focused on getting him back to playing status after such a long absence.

Dalton Kincaid – TE (Buffalo Bills)

It’s highly unlikely that Dalton Kincaid will play this week, as the tight end didn’t participate in practice on Wednesday, and the Bills are playing the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football. Kincaid suffered a hamstring injury in Week 10 against the Miami Dolphins.

C.J. Stroud – QB (Houston Texans)

Stroud suffered a concussion against the Denver Broncos in Week 9, and although he has returned to practice, he won’t be ready for the Thursday Night Football encounter against the Buffalo Bills. Expect him back in the starting lineup in Week 13.

Dillon Gabriel – QB (Cleveland Browns)

Gabriel has been ruled out for Week 12 against the Las Vegas Raiders. The former Oregon quarterback is in the middle of the concussion protocol after receiving a big hit that took him out of the game against the Baltimore Ravens over the weekend. In his place, Shedeur Sanders is set to make his first NFL regular-season career start.
