“Absolutely Insane”: NFL Analyst Goes Off on Donald Trump’s Speech for Charlie Kirk on His Memorial

President Donald Trump raised a few eyebrows during a speech, including NFL analyst Lindsey Ok. As the president made a speech regarding the late far-right podcaster Charlie Kirk, she blasted him for his pettiness when he said he did not want what is best for his opponents.

This admission comes as the White House is under fire for its role in pressuring Disney to suspend Jimmy Kimmel.

“I mean this is absolutely insane for a president to say,” she tweeted.

In his remarks during the Kirk memorial service, Trump told a story about a conversation he had with Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk’s widow. He noted that he disagreed with Kirk on not hating his opponents.

“That’s where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate my opponent and I don’t want the best for them. I’m sorry. I am sorry Erika,” he said.

This admittance from Trump raised some eyebrows from the football analyst, especially with him going after late-night comics for making fun of him. His administration has so far pressured CBS to cancel “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” and ABC to suspend “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” indefinitely.

As for Lindsey, she works as a contributing writer for USA Today, writing for their Baltimore Ravens page, Ravens Wire.

Erika Kirk Does Opposite Thing To Donald Trump During Charlie Kirk Memorial

Before Donald Trump eulogized Charlie Kirk, it was his wife, Erika Kirk, who spoke about her husband. While Donald Trump stated that he does not want what is best for his opponents, Erika set a different tone, starting the memorial service by saying that she now forgives her husband’s killer, Tyler Robinson, who was captured days after the fatal shooting that took her husband’s life.

“My husband, he wanted to save young men, just like the one who took his life,” Erika Kirk said. “That man, that young man – I forgive him. I forgive him because it was what Christ did, and it is what Charlie would do.”

This was in contrast to what Erika Kirk said in an interview with the New York Times, which was published on Sunday. In that interview, Erika stated that she wants the suspect to receive the death penalty but added that she wants the government to decide on his fate as she did not want “that man’s blood on my ledger.”
