As the Cleveland Browns are well aware, Black Monday has come and gone. With it, a sizable smattering of coaches were informed that their duties are no longer required. Of course, some teams didn’t wait that long.
With so many moves happening, it can make one’s head spin. To help keep track of it all, here’s a look at where things currently sit in the AFC and the NFC.
AFC Coaching Changes
Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders parted ways with Pete Carroll after the Week 18 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, per a Monday Adam Schefter report on X. Armed with the top pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Las Vegas will be tasked with starting almost everything from scratch.
- Fired Pete Carroll
Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns waited so long to part ways with Kevin Stefanski that many believed the franchise would not. However, Kevin Stefanski’s tenure with the team came to an end after the team defeated Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 18.
- Fired Kevin Stefanski
Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans parted ways with Brian Callahan after six weeks. Former Los Angeles Chargers head coach Mike McCoy took over as the interim for the remainder of the season. The next head coach will be tasked with helping Cam Ward make a dent in the AFC after a 3-14 season.
- Fired Brian Callahan
NFC Coaching Changes
Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons cleaned house shortly after Week 18, parting ways with general manager Terry Fontenot and head coach Raheem Morris. The Falcons finished 8-9, one game away from winning the NFC South. Armed with a bevvy of talent, including Bijan Robinson and Drake London, there will seemingly be plenty of pressure on the next coach to start fast.
- Fired Raheem Morris
New York Giants
The New York Giants moved on from Brian Daboll after Week 10, leaving Mike Kafka to run out the clock. The next head coach will be tasked with getting the most out of Jaxson Dart, Malik Nabers, and Cam Skattebo, putting together a season much different than the 4-13 run in 2025.
- Fired Brian Daboll
Arizona Cardinals
Jonathan Gannon was on the hot seat after a disastrous 2025 campaign and did not survive the Black Monday window. With the Kyler Murray era seemingly coming to an end, the next head coach will get in on the ground floor in a division that has three teams that made the playoffs in 2025.
- Fired Jonathan Gannon
