The Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns kicked off Sunday’s NFL slate at 9:30 a.m. ET. The early start was because the game is taking place in England at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Before the game started, there was a full slate of pregame festivities. One of the most exciting parts of the pregame events was the national anthem. British star Pixie Lott sang the national anthem.
Lott was brought out onto the field on a red platform. Several people then pulled a large UK flag away from the platform before Lott started singing the UK national anthem. The anthem preceded the formal team introduction and opening coin toss.

Who Is Pixie Lott? Everything You Need to Know About the National Anthem Singer at the Browns vs Vikings Game
Pixie Lott is a British singer and songwriter. She first broke out with her second studio album, “Young Foolish Happy.” It debuted in 2011 and included the No. 1 hit “All About Tonight.” It also included several other singles that would go on to rank in the top 10.
Lott has also made occasional TV and film appearances. Notably, she appeared in the UK production of the Richard Greenberg play “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” in 2016. She made her acting debut in 2010 on the Nickelodeon film “Fred: The Movie.”
Lott is quite popular in the UK, and as a result, it was not surprising that she was selected to be the anthem singer for the game between the Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings on Sunday morning. Her performance was well-received ahead of the highly anticipated international event.
The game between the Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns is one that is critical for both teams’ hopes this season. The Vikings have not had the start they hoped for. An injury to rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy has limited their offense. As a result, they have only won two of their first four games. They are coming off a narrow 24-21 loss to Pittsburgh.
Conversely, the Browns are trying to figure out what type of team they are this year. They are 1-3, and another loss would move them toward the bottom of the NFL standings.
