Micah Parsons’ 2025 was a wild ride. From being one of the Dallas Cowboys’ top stars to helping their rivals, the Green Bay Packers, reach the postseason, the linebacker had a year filled with movement and new horizons. Sadly, he won’t be able to participate in the postseason after a season-ending injury cut his participation short on Dec. 14, during a game against the Denver Broncos.
It’s now been confirmed that Parsons will undergo ACL surgery this Monday, as the player posted a picture on his Instagram story of himself getting ready for the procedure. In the story, he wrote:
“See yall soon love yall!!”

Thus begins a lengthy process of recovery, with all eyes on his return in the 2026 season. The team missed him dearly in the last two games, losing to the Chicago Bears and the Baltimore Ravens. This led to them losing the NFC North division title. The Packers have suffered other important injuries, most notably quarterback Jordan Love, who was absent from their last game against Baltimore.
It remains to be seen what adjustments Matt LaFleur and the Packers coaching staff will make as the team enters the postseason.
Micah Parsons’ Stats in 2025 With the Green Bay Packers
Micah Parsons had a decent season with the Green Bay Packers in 2025. He played through 14 games and recorded 41 total tackles (19 solo, 22 assists). He also had 12.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one pass defensed. He is currently tied sixth for the most sacks in the NFL.
The numbers are pretty similar to his 2024 numbers with the Dallas Cowboys, but they’re far away from his career bests of 2021, 2022, and 2023. It was in his rookie year that he recorded the most tackles of his career, a total of 84. In 2022 and 2023, his tackles decreased, but were still better than in 2025, being in the low 60s. He was much closer to his career-high in sacks from 2023, when he had 14.
However, it’s important to note that these numbers are with three games fewer than the number of games he played in his first three seasons at Dallas.
