Miami Fans Plead For Quinn Ewers As Tua Tagovailoa’s Disasterclass Results in Blowout Loss To Cleveland

The Miami Dolphins suffered yet another loss on Sunday. It was another blowout affair that has fans talking about replacing starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in favor of former Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers.

The Cleveland Brown crushed the Dolphins 31-6 at Huntington Bank Field. Tagovailoa threw three interceptions in the game while completing only 12 of 23 passes. On the other hand, when Ewers was brought in for some snaps, the rookie completed 5 of 8 passes for 53 yards.

This has many convinced that the Dolphins will be better off with Ewers leading them on the field.

“MIAMI PLEASE PUT IN EWERS ON SOME YOLO SHIT,” one fan wrote.

“Tua should have been benched after week 3,” one fan added.

“Yes, Quinn should start now,” one fan commented.

“It’s time for anybody but Tua. 🤣” one fan wrote.

“It’s too late but at least he’s in. I’d rather see Wilson tho,” one fan suggested.

“Damn tua fall off quick !!” one fan commented.

“To many concussions for Tua.. his brain can’t compute like it used to :/ as someone who has had 6 myself, he’s probably just not able to handle it anymore.. sad as tht is for him,” one fan pointed to Tua’s concussion issues.

Tua Tagovailoa Apologized for His Comments Before Browns Game

Tua Tagovailoa is not only facing criticism for his play on the field but also for throwing his teammates under the bus. After the Dolphins’ previous loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, the quarterback publicly called out his teammates for tardiness to player-led meetings. This created tension within the locker room.

Before the game against the Browns, the Dolphins quarterback apologized for his comments.

“I made a mistake. I’m owning up to that right now,” he said. “I’ve talked to the guys on the team about it, talked to the leaders about it. They know my heart. They know that the intent was right, but no matter the intent. The intent can be right but when things get misconstrued or however the media wants to portray it. That leaves a void of silence and a lot of questions for the guys on our team.”

Tagovailoa said he needs to do better as a leader and don’t get caught up in emotions. He said what happens inside should never be revealed in public.

“So want to publicly apologize about that. Want to move forward and focus on the Cleveland Browns,” he added.

With the Quinn Ewers’ case being made, Tagovailoa is not in a good position to remain at QB1 for the Dolphins.
