Looking to make a leap from his rookie season, it’s been an up-and-down year for second-year wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
Harrison Jr., a first-round pick by the Arizona Cardinals a season ago out of Ohio State, had a solid rookie line of 62 receptions for 885 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. Still, many fans thought he left a lot out on the field.
Looking to elevate his game this season, Harrison Jr. hasn’t had a breakout game this season and has missed three games due to two separate injuries.
During the Cardinals’ Week 13 loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Harrison Jr. suffered a heel injury, and he would go on to miss the last two games. As the Cardinals prepare to face the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday, getting Harrison Jr. back would be big for the offense and quarterback Jacoby Brissett.
Will Marvin Harrison Jr. Play This Week?
While he’s missed the last two games with a heel injury, it seems as if Harrison Jr. will be good to go for Sunday’s game. Harrison Jr. told reporters on Friday that he should be ‘good to go’ after practicing for a third-straight day. Barring an unexpected setback, Harrison Jr. should be active.
Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) said he’s “good enough to go” in Week 16.

Should I Start Marvin Harrison Jr. or Michael Wilson This Week?
After tight end Trey McBride, wide receiver Michael Wilson has emerged as the Cardinals’ second-best pass-catching option this season. Wilson ranks second in receptions (66) and receiving yards (766) while being tied with Harrison Jr. for the second most receiving touchdowns with four. He’s benefitted the most out of any Cardinals’ WR when Harrison Jr. has been inactive.
Since Week 11, Wilson has had three games with at least 100+ receiving yards and has scored three touchdowns in the last two games. Harrison Jr. hasn’t managed to have one 100 yard game this season.
If you have both receivers in your fantasy league, start the guy with the hot hand in Wilson.
