Former New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez was attacked in downtown Indianapolis in the early hours of Saturday morning and has been sent to the hospital. According to a report by TMZ, the former star quarterback is currently in critical condition in a stabbing incident.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department released a report on Saturday that police officers responded to a “disturbance in an alley” call around 12:30 AM local time on Saturday. One person was reportedly stabbed and another one was injured, with the incident happening outside a pub near West Washington Street and North Senate Avenue, reports indicate.
A suspect has already been detained, though Sanchez is currently battling for his life at a local hospital. He was reportedly in Indianapolis because of his role as a football analyst for Fox Sports.
