Izzy Followed Bo Nix To Oregon When He Transferred in College

As for Izzy and Bo Nix as a couple, they are actually college sweethearts, meeting at Auburn University and developing their relationship from there. She used to be a cheerleader for the Tigers, with Bo being a quarterback for the school. In other words, theirs was a classic quarterback and cheerleader relationship often seen in movies.

A year later, in the middle of Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium, Bo dropped down on his knee on July 30, 2021 and proposed to her. She said yes, with the two holding their marriage ceremony in Alpine, Alabama on July 22, with family and friends in attendance. They got married while both of them were still enrolled at Auburn.

As Bo Nix entered his senior year, he surprised many by entering the transfer portal in 2023 and going to Oregon. of course, Izzy followed, but she admitted that she had been very reluctant in moving, as a September 2023 interview with the Pac-12 Networks revealed.

“It was definitely a tough transition coming out here, but I knew when we got engaged that we could live anywhere, be anywhere he could transfer, and so it’s been great,” she said.

She and Bo are still going strong and is a regular sight during Denver Broncos games.
