IN PIC: Ladd McConkey’s Wife Sydney Shows Love To Chargers Star With Chic Custom Outfit

While the Chargers were gearing up for their Week 14 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, Ladd McConkey headed into the game with a little extra support from home. His wife, Sydney, shared a mirror selfie on Instagram before kickoff, which showcased her sweet gesture.

Sydney was seen wearing a fitted white long-sleeve top with McConkey’s No. 15 stitched onto the chest, a detail she revealed she sewed herself early in the morning.

She paired the custom piece with light-wash jeans featuring graphic detailing near the pocket, putting together a relaxed but intentional game-day look that made her support unmistakable.

Los Angeles enters the week at 8–4, sitting firmly in the AFC West race as one of the conference’s more consistent teams this season. McConkey continues to be a major contributor in his second year, maintaining his role as a reliable and productive target for Justin Herbert.

With the offense leaning on rhythm and timing, his steady involvement has helped the Chargers sustain momentum through the first three months of the season.

Sydney has been visible throughout the year in supporting him, whether through small gestures like today’s stitched game-day outfit or the more personal moments she shares online.

Last month, on McConkey’s birthday, she posted a heartfelt message celebrating him as her soulmate, praising the person he is off the field and the work ethic that drives him on it.

“Happy birthday to my soulmate!! The one who makes me feel like the only girl in the world:’) The most genuine, hardworking, PERFECT man i know, i love & ADORE you- you deserve it all & i could go on about you all day🫶🏻 Happy birthday to you my love, here’s to another hell of a year!” Sydney wrote.

While McConkey is getting plenty of support from his family off the field, on the field, he’s all about someone who he believes deserves major recognition.

Ladd McConkey Is Backing Justin Herbert for MVP

McConkey has been vocal about Justin Herbert’s season, and he’s made it clear he believes his quarterback deserves real MVP consideration. He’s talked about how their chemistry has strengthened in year two.

He also explained that Herbert’s clarity in communication, from pacing on routes to where he wants McConkey to land on specific breaks, has helped them elevate their timing each week. In McConkey’s view, the improvement they’ve shown as a duo is a direct reflection of Herbert’s leadership and football acumen.

“It’s great. Justin’s a great dude,” McConkey said. “Being able to come in year two and us being able to just feed off each other on the field, knowing what he wants to expect and how he wants me to run this route, what spot he wants me out. Speed it out, slow it down, or whatever. I feel like we’re getting better by the week and keep it rolling.”

Herbert’s 2025 numbers reinforce that argument. He enters Week 14 with 2,842 passing yards, 21 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, and a QBR of 60.8.
