    NFL Inactive Today: Full List of Key Players Ruled Out For Week 12 Including Josh Jacobs, Aaron Rodgers, and More

    Week 12 of the 2025-2026 NFL season is underway, with the Houston Texans holding off the Buffalo Bills for a big 23-19 Thursday night win.

    The week continues with seven 1:00 games, four games in the later slot, the Los Angeles Rams hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday night, and concludes with San Francisco 49ers hosting the Carolina Panthers on Monday night.

    But with each week, key players are inactive from lingering or recent injuries or other reasons. Here’s a look at some key players who are active for Week 12:

    Key Players Ruled Out For Week 12

    With many players ruled out this week, here’s a look at some of the top players around the league who are inactive:

    Aaron Rodgers

    Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is inactive today against the Chicago Bears after suffering a small fracture in his non-throwing wrist against the Cincinnati Bengals last week.

    Josh Jacobs 

    Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs suffered a knee injury last week against the New York Giants and left the game. He was looking to play today against the Green Bay Packers but was ruled out hours before kickoff.

    Bucky Irving

    The return of Bucky Irving is going to have to wait. He’s out for another week with his shoulder injury that he suffered early in the season.

    Ja’Marr Chase 

    Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is inactive today due to a one-game suspension for spitting on Pittsburgh Steelers’ defensive back Jalen Ramsey in last week’s game.

    Drake London

    Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Drake London is inactive with a knee injury. They are without both he and starting quarterback Michael Penix Jr.

    Brian Thomas Jr. 

    Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. is inactive again with his ankle injury. Parker Washington and Jakobi Meyers should get most of the targets.

    Jonathan Greenard

    Minnesota Vikings edge rusher Jonathan Greenard will be inactive for a second straight game with a shoulder injury.

    Trey Hendrickson 

    Cincinnati Bengals edge rusher Trey Hendrickson aggravated his hip in Week 8 and has been inactive since. He is inactive against the Patriots today.

    Terrion Arnold/Kerby Joseph

    The Detroit Lions will be without two of its top members of the secondary with cornerback Terrion Arnold (concussion) and safety Kerby Joseph (knee) both ruled out.
