Is Keon Coleman & Brandin Cooks Playing This Week? Latest Status Update And Fantasy Outlook on Bills WRs

As the Buffalo Bills prepare to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road, they’ll get the additions of two pass catcher for quarterback Josh Allen. The Bills signed a veteran wide receiver within the last week and have activated one of their own receivers that missed the last two weeks.

Let’s take a look at the boosts the Bills will be getting in their receiving core today against the Pittsburgh Steelers

    Why Was Keon Coleman Suspended?

The Buffalo Bills suspended Keon Coleman as a form of punishment prior to the Week 11 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Coleman’s benching was due to his tardiness to a team meeting. He was also benched earlier this season in Week 5 against the New England Patriots in the team’s opening series due to being late to a meeting.

Will Keon Coleman Play in Week 13?

Yes, Keon Coleman is expected to play today against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He makes his return back from being benched the last two games due to disciplinary reasons.

Will Brandin Cooks Play in Week 13?

Wide receiver Brandin Cooks was released by the New Orleans Saints on November 19, 2025. Six days later, he signed with the Buffalo Bills for the remainder of the season. Just five days after joining the Bills, Cooks will make his Buffalo debut as he’s expected to be active for today’s game against Pittsburgh. This will be the sixth different team Cooks will have played for.

    Keon Coleman Fantasy Outlook

Despite missing a few games this season, Keon Coleman is still one of Josh Allen’s favorite targets. He ranks third in receiving yards (330) on the team and second in receptions with 32. His three receiving touchdowns is tied for second most on the team.

With Coleman being inserted back into the lineup as well as with Brandin Cooks, it may not be a smart move to start him in fantasy this week.

    Brandin Cooks Fantasy Outlook

In 10 games played this season, Brandin Cooks has 19 receptions for 165 yards. Cooks wasn’t brought into Buffalo expected to be one of their top receivers, but rather another gadget weapon on offense.

Cooks has been a speedster for most of his career, but with him aging, his production hasn’t been the same since the 2021 season when he last went for 1,000 receiving yards. Cooks, at least for now, doesn’t seem to be a viable option in fantasy.
