“Maybe I’m More Than A Football Player”: Josh Allen Gets 100% Real On Hailee Steinfeld’s Advice Amid Consecutive Losses

Josh Allen is a top-three quarterback in the NFL at the moment, and while he hasn’t capped his career with a Super Bowl win yet, it’s difficult to see him as anything else than a football player. Yet, according to comments made by Allen in a recent interview, there might be more to life than playing football for him.

According to the quarterback, this is something he learnt through his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, who taught him that he can be more than a football player:

“Maybe I am more than a football player.”

Not only is he learning from Steinfeld, but he seems completely fulfilled by his relationship, as he said in the interview that she’s everything he needs:

“She’s everything that I need in my life”

Josh Allen Still Driven to Win a Super Bowl With The Buffalo Bills

Regardless of how happy he is with his personal life, that hasn’t erased the drive he has to win a Super Bowl with the Buffalo Bills to cap his career. He said as much in the interview:

“I know as a man, in my life, I will be great,” Allen said when asked how he would feel if he failed to win a Super Bowl during his career. “But in doing what I do, and how I’ve done it for my entire career, putting everything I have into my job and winning a Super Bowl, it’ll always be the Great White Buffalo. The one that got away. Whatever you want to call it.

“But fortunately, we’ve got opportunities to hopefully right that ship.”

That goal is still within reach for the Bills this season, with them currently having a record of 4-2. Particularly, a thrilling Week 1 Sunday Night Football victory against the Baltimore Ravens showed that Allen and the Bills can deliver under pressure. But back-to-back defeats in their last two games have begun to show some cracks in their season.
