The Falcons completely outplayed Buffalo on both sides of the ball. Bijan Robinson exploded for 170 rushing yards, including an 81-yard touchdown that buried the Bills’ defense. Atlanta quarterback Michael Penix Jr. stayed efficient, moving the ball with ease as the Falcons outgained Buffalo 443 to 291 in total yards.
For the Bills, it was another frustrating game defined by offensive inconsistency and missed opportunities. Allen was at the center of the chaos. He threw for just 180 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions.
The Falcons brought heat on more than half his dropbacks, forcing rushed throws and off-target passes. Fans pointed out that his decision-making has regressed, with Allen trying to force big plays instead of taking easy completions.
Josh Allen Appears to Re-Injure Hand After Brutal Sack
Allen’s rough night against Atlanta got even worse when he appeared to hurt his hand after a heavy sack in the second quarter. As he went down under pressure, Allen’s left hand was caught awkwardly against the turf, and he was seen flexing it in pain moments later.
The play immediately drew concern, as it was the same hand he had previously fractured. Trainers checked on him briefly on the sideline, but he stayed in the game and continued to play through the discomfort.
The injury didn’t appear to involve his throwing hand, but it clearly affected his body language for the rest of the contest. Allen’s grip looked off on several throws, and he avoided contact on designed runs.
With the Bills already battling offensive issues, another injury to their star quarterback could complicate things further. The team is expected to evaluate him more thoroughly in the coming days to determine whether it’s just soreness or a potential aggravation of his old fracture.
