Josh Allen’s wife, Academy Award-nominated actress Hailee Steinfeld, is having the time of her life in 2025. This year, she had a breakthrough role in the movie “Sinners,” which has been highly critically acclaimed since its release in April. Her role as Mary has been lauded as one of the best of her career.
The interviewer asked Hailee if she plans to have children. She replied without hesitation: ‘Of course.’

In a recent interview with the publication Bustle, Steinfeld was asked if her career success in 2025 could be related to her happiness stemming from her relationship with Josh Allen. Here is what she said about her relationship with the Buffalo Bills quarterback:
“Oh my God, absolutely! That inner peace that you have, that rock, that solid, consistent part of your life is indescribable. I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world. Life makes sense. Everything makes sense. I feel like I am stepping into the version that I’ve always dreamed of being, having so much to do with being with him.”
She was then asked if that happiness could translate into a desire to have kids, ostensibly with the NFL star:
“Of course.”
Steinfeld and Allen tied the knot officially in May of this year, barely a month after the release of “Sinners”. They have been dating since early 2023, with her relationship officially starting in May of 2023, according to some reports.
Hailee Steinfeld On Playing Mary In “Sinners”
On the interview, she also spoke about playing Mary, the love interest of Michael B. Jordan’s Elias “Stack” Moore in the movie “Sinners”. According to her, she was only able to play her character because of the point she is at in her life:
“This role wouldn’t have existed in my life at any other time. It made sense in that this is where I’m at in my life. I’m stepping into my own as a woman, understanding who I am in every sense of the word. I’m such a firm believer in the idea that everything happens for a reason. Timing is everything. Where I’m at professionally, mentally, emotionally — if this part had come into my life any sooner, I wouldn’t have been able to take it on.”
The movie currently holds a 97% score on Rotten Tomatoes. It revolves around a vampire story in a black community in the 1930s Deep South.
