Jonathon Cooper Fires Off NSFW Post After Broncos End Chiefs’ AFC West Reign

The Kansas City Chiefs’ season just keeps getting worse. Their 13-20 loss against the Denver Broncos in Week 17 has been another step in the wrong direction. After the game, Jonathon Cooper made it clear what he thinks about the Chiefs.

The Chiefs had been the most dominant team in the league for several years. They have been in the playoffs every year since 2014, and that run also included five Super Bowl appearances and three Super Bowl wins.

It’s all over now. Patrick Mahomes, the best player on the team, suffered a season-ending injury weeks ago. Rumors are that Travis Kelce might retire in the upcoming offseason. The Chiefs haven’t looked this weak in over a decade.

Adding insult to injury, when they lost against the Broncos, which was their 10th loss of the season, Cooper took to X to make an NSFW comment.

    “F*ck the chiefs,” he wrote.

Everyone who waited to see the Chiefs’ downfall is now enjoying the moment. It was a long wait, but it’s all happening in the 2025-26 season. Now, they have just one more game left in the season, and it’s against one of the worst teams this season, the Las Vegas Raiders.

As terrible as the season has been for the Chiefs, it can still get worse. Missing the playoffs, the end of a dynasty, a quarterback out with an injury, Kelce headed toward retirement, and much more can be made even worse if they lose to the Raiders.

The Raiders are tied for the worst record in the league, 2-13, with the New York Giants. Losing to them would be the final nail in the coffin, and that will send the Chiefs into arguably the worst state they’ve been in.

    Is Travis Kelce Retiring?

Kelce is an 11-time Pro Bowl, four-time First-team All-Pro, and a three-time Super Bowl winner. He has been with the same team that drafted him back in 2013 as their third round, 63rd pick in the NFL Draft.

The 36-year-old has achieved everything that he set out to do in his career. So, is Kelce going to bid farewell to the game this offseason? It’s not confirmed yet, but rumors are that he’s considering retirement.

Kelce isn’t happy with his performance this season, and he talked about that before the Christmas game on Prime Video.

“It’s frustrating, man, it’s frustrating,” Kelce said. “I feel like I can’t even look my guy, coach Andy Reid, in his eyes right now, just because I feel like I disappointed or I just let him down in some way, somehow throughout the year.”

The game against the Raiders could be his last career NFL game.
