Jonathan Owens and the Chicago Bears are in the middle of the final stretch of the regular season. Coming off a dominant 31-3 win over the Browns last Sunday, the Bears have three more games lined up for them.
With a 10-4 record, they’re at the top of the NFC North and are tied for the second-best record in the National Football Conference. With things going their way, Owens recently decided to enjoy some time off with his wife, Simone Biles.
The couple attended Rod Wave’s concert at the United Center. Biles posted a video on her Instagram story where the couple could be seen vibing to ‘Girl Of My Dreams’ by Rod Wave.

This is Owens’ second season with the Bears. He joined the team in March 2024 on a two-year contract after a short stint with the Green Bay Packers. While the Bears have been on a good run this season so far, Owens has felt the never-ending support of his wife.
The legendary Olympic gymnast has been a steady presence at the Bears’ games. Biles often shows up in style to support her husband. Her Instagram updates on game day and the sweet moments they share on the sidelines are a big hit among the fans.
Heading into the final stretch of the season, Biles is expected to continue her support for her husband and the Bears franchise. In the midst of a hectic and demanding season, attending a concert to just vibe sounds like a great idea.
Jonathan Owens Got in Trouble for His Comments on Simone Biles
Biles is one of the most accomplished gymnasts and Olympians of our time. Her medal tally is comparable only to the all-time greats, and her talent is simply undeniable. She holds an impressive 41 medals in Olympic and World Championships combined.
She is loved by millions of fans around the globe, and that’s why, when Owens, during an appearance on The Pivot Podcast, revealed his first impression of Biles, he got into trouble.
“When she won the Olympics, I was in college, and we didn’t have NBC. We didn’t have Olympics channels and we’re in camp. We’re in camp in late July, early August,” he said. “So, I’m not paying attention…I’m like, ‘Lemme see who this is.’ I never really paid attention to gymnastics, so it piqued my curiosity.”
Many felt his statement was ignorant and that he tried to undermine Biles’ accomplishments. Needless to say, it wasn’t the case. While the internet went ablaze over what he said, Biles and Owens continued to show that they weren’t bothered by the noise.
