The Jacksonville Jaguars suffered their worst loss of the season on Sunday at Wembley Stadium and many are cracking jokes at the expense of wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr., who struggled to catch the ball on the field.
The Rams defeated the Jaguars 35-7 in a game which saw Travis Hunter recording his first touchdown of the season. However, that touchdown came in the fourth quarter and until that point, the Jaguars didn’t even score once not even a field goal.
Much of their offensive troubles arise because of lackluster performance from Thomas Jr. The wide receiver dropped 11 catches and only managed three receptions for 31 yards before leaving the game due to an injury. Prior to Sunday’s game, Thomas Jr. had dropped only five passes.
Netizens slammed Thomas Jr.’s performance and came up with hilarious memes. We’ve reserved some of the best for you:

Jaguars HC On Brian Thomas Jr.’s Catching Struggles
Among all his dropped passes, Brian Thomas Jr.’s most critical drop led to a missed field goal attempt. After the game, Jaguars head coach Liam Coen addressed Thomas Jr.’s pass-catching troubles. He said:
“Yeah, we’ve obviously got to make sure that we’re in a position, you know, with our hands, with our violent to the tuck, with the way we’re looking the ball in, you know, and also ball plays, making sure the ball is in the right spots and not, you know, all that stuff. I think there’s a combination of things, you know. Still, we’ve got to keep throwing it though. I mean, we can’t just keep running it, running it, running it. So, it’s just the way it goes.”4
Coen on Brian Thomas Jr’s continuous drop problem. you can hear the frustration. hard for the #Jaguars to put him out there if they can’t trust him to catch the ball.

In the fourth quarter, when the Jaguars were trailing 35-7, Brian Thomas Jr. suffered a right shoulder injury. The injury happened after he landed awkwardly while running a route. He grabbed his shoulder afterwards. He exited the game following the injury.

The injury is concerning because it’s the same shoulder he dislocated in college and re-injured earlier this year. Early assessment suggests a possible labral tear, but further evaluation will be done to determine the full extent of the injury.
