Despite being 1-3 as the Cincinnati Bengals starting quarterback after being traded from the Cleveland Browns early in the season, Joe Flacco has made the most out of his time filling in for an injured Joe Burrow.
Flacco began the season as the Browns’ starting quarterback and after a 1-3 start, they shipped him to division rival Cincinnati Bengals in a rare intra-division trade. In his time as the team’s quarterback, he’s gone 1-3 in the for games he’s started but has thrown for 1,254 yards, 11 touchdowns and two interceptions while completing 64.7 percent of his passes.
Flacco’s magic with the Bengals, (despite the team not winning) has been one of the more entertaining storylines to follow this season.
What Happened to Joe Flacco?
Joe Flacco has a lingering AC joint injury that he suffered in Week 8. During the team’s game against the New York Jets, Flacco suffered an AC joint sprain.
As a result of his lingering shoulder injury, Flacco did not throw at practice on Wednesday.

Is Joe Flacco Playing in Week 11?
As of right now, there is no official word on whether or not Joe Flacco will play this Sunday vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers. He did throw at the team’s Thursday practice, indicating that the team probably kept him from throwing yesterday to rest his shoulder. As of now, it seems as if he will be able to play in Sunday’s game, but it is a situation to monitor.
Joe Flacco is throwing for the first time this week, but only taking one rep each set while the other QB’s take two or three.

Joe Flacco Fantasy Outlook
With the Cincinnati Bengals opening Joe Burrow’s 21-day practice window off of injured reserve, Joe Flacco doesn’t have much of a fantasy outlook for the remainder of the season. While he’s been highly productive in his last three games, throwing for 1,035 yards, nine touchdowns, and two interceptions, Burrow will be taking over as the team’s starter as soon as next week.
Fantasy Replacements For Joe Flacco If he Misses This Week
