“Joe Burrow Request That Trade”: Fans Want Bengals QB Gone After Brutal 24-0 Loss vs Ravens

The Cincinnati Bengals shutout loss against the Ravens might’ve done more damage than what we’re seeing right now. Joe Burrow’s team, trailing 14-0 at halftime, ended up losing 24-0 and got eliminated from playoff contention.

The bigger threat that now looms over the franchise is related to the future of their star quarterback. Burrow went 25 of 39 for 225 yards and no touchdowns in the matchup. He threw two interceptions, one of which helped close the game for the Ravens.

After the disastrous outing, fans voiced their opinions on the internet regarding Burrow’s future in Cincinnati.

“what a way to go out. rest in piss bengals. joe burrow request that trade,” a fan wrote.

“I thought Burrow was gonna carry yall to the playoffs?” a fan mocked the Bengals.

“Joe Burrow on playoff talks,” a fan wrote.

Burrow wasn’t the only one catching heat from fans after the loss.

“Thank you for ruining my life Zac Taylor,” a fan wrote.

“Don’t worry guys. We almost won a SB almost half a decade ago. No reason to demand change,” a fan wrote.

“time for massive change or y’all watch your QB request a trade,” a fan wrote.

The season is over for the Bengals, and they will soon be left with a lot of unanswered questions. A 4-10 record so far, and the only reason they’re not sitting at the bottom of the AFC North is that the Browns reside there.

The last time the Bengals suffered a shutout loss was in 2017 during the season opener against the Ravens when they lost 20-0. In Burrow’s NFL journey so far, this was his first experience of this kind. It’s understandable why his fans want him to leave the franchise.

Will Joe Burrow Leave the Bengals?

As crushing as the loss might feel, it’s too soon to make a definitive comment about the future of the star quarterback. His name has been in the rumor market for a while, and it’s well known that he wants to win.

So, this loss and the elimination from the playoff race signal the possibility of Burrow cutting ties with the franchise.

“It doesn’t change my desire to win,” Burrow said after the game. “If I want to keep doing this, I have to have fun doing it. I have been through a lot. If it’s not fun, then what am I doing it for?”

Even though the Bengals are out of playoff contention, Burrow still wants to finish the season playing the final three games.
