Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels continues to get linked with USC women’s basketball star JuJu Watkins.
The Commander’s official X account posted a photo of Daniels with his hands inside his pocket. One social media user paid special attention to his wristband, which allegedly had ” 12❤️” written on it. This is Watkins’ college basketball jersey number with USC.

This paved the way to several reactions from fans, with some even bringing his mother or candidly saying “momager” Regina Jackson into the conversation.
“And now his arms broken. Maybe his momma was right,” one fan wrote.
The reaction came after the former Heisman winner suffered a dislocation of his left (non-throwing) elbow against the Seattle Seahawks.
“Regina was right. He got some and the season is in shambles,” one fan added.
“lmao take her off da jumbotronnnnnnn,” one fan commented.
“Mom was right! that cotter cat 🐱 got thag boy playn like some shid,” one fan added.
“He better focus on football …nevermind keep smiling 😃😊🙂” one fan wrote.
“Was it the same arm he hurt?” one fan asked.
The attention towards Jayden Daniels and JuJu Watkins intensified when they were seen leaving a birthday celebration together. Apart from that, Watkins has been to several of the Commanders’ games already, and the duo have been spotted shaking hands.
What Happened to Jayden Daniels?
With 7:39 remaining in the fourth quarter, Jayden Daniels was sacked. The Commanders’ quarterback landed awkwardly on his left arm. Despite the injury, Daniels stayed in the game. He is scheduled for an MRI to further determine the extent of the injury. It is expected he will be sidelined indefinitely.
It has already been an injury-prone season for the 2024 Offensive Rookie of the Year. He earlier missed games with a left knee sprain (Weeks 3-4) and a hamstring strain (Week 8).
Coach Dan Quinn expressed regret for leaving Daniels in the game despite the injury.
“The hindsight, you don’t want to think that way, where injury could take place,” Quinn told reporters. “You’re more conservative in that spot, running and handoffs and not have reads to go.”
Quinn further added that he will make sure that it doesn’t happen again in future.
