New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart suffered a concussion late in the Giants’ 24-20 loss to the Chicago Bears on Nov. 9. He was unable to return to the game and entered concussion protocol shortly after. Although the concussion was not believed to be severe, he was ruled out of last week’s game against the Packers. QB Jameis Winston played the game instead, and the Giants lost 27-20.
The Giants were hoping that Dart would be ready for their game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, but that no longer appears likely.

On Friday, reports started to come out indicating that Jaxson Dart has been ruled out of this week’s game against the Detroit Lions.

Jameis Winston will start again. The veteran former first overall pick appeared in his first game of the season last week. He completed 19 of 29 passing attempts for 201 yards and no TDs. He had one interception, was sacked twice, and made three carries for 10 yards and one TD.

With Jaxson Dart out for another week, fantasy owners will need to find a replacement. Here are three interesting options that should be available on your waiver wire.
One under-the-radar option is New Orleans rookie Tyler Shough. He is coming off a 282-yard performance against the Carolina Panthers two weeks ago. While he is far from a guarantee to perform well, he has higher upside than most waiver wire pickups.
Arizona’s Jacoby Brissett has performed well since taking over for Kyler Murray following his injury. He is coming off a massive performance last week, where he completed 47 of 57 passing attempts for 452 yards and two TDs.
Carolina’s Bryce Young is another solid option. He is starting to live up to the hype that made him the first pick in the 2023 draft. He is coming off a 448-yard and three TD performance against Atlanta last week.
