Jared Goff’s Detroit Lions are almost ready to start the Thanksgiving NFL football slate this Thursday. The Lions face off against their divisional rivals, the Green Bay Packers, at Ford Field today at 1:00 p.m. ET. The game is an important one for the postseason race, as both teams have had similar seasons up until now.
The Lions have a record of 7-4, and the Packers are 7-3-1. The Packers are currently second in the NFC North, and the Lions third, with the Chicago Bears leading the division with a record of 8-3. As anyone can see, the game can set some important changes in the divisional race for NFC North.
No one seems readier for the game than Jared Goff’s wife, Christen Harper, who jumped on her Instagram story earlier on Thanksgiving Thursday to post a mirror selfie video.
“Happy Thanksgiving & go Lions 🦁,” wrote Christen Harper in the story.
Harper is a supermodel and actress who met Jared Goff in 2019, and they got married a little over a year ago in 2024. Her IMDb credits include movies Auggie and The Obituary of Tunde Johnson. She was also in the short film Seven Eleven.

Goff and Christen welcomed their first child, a daughter by the name of Romy Isabelle Goff, in July 2025.

The daughter of the Lions quarterback was seen on the sidelines with her mother wearing a football-inspired custom that had her looking like a football.

A video now viral on Instagram showed Goff approaching the toddler to hug and kiss her before the start of the key encounter against their divisional rivals. He also kissed his wife as he walked away to play.
