As the New York Giants prepare to take on the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, players are often spotted arriving at the stadium and showing off their personal style outside their usual uniforms. One Giants player caught many fans’ attention, as Jameis Winston arrived in a trench coat and sunglasses.
This immediately got fans talking, as many of them talked about his look, while others were worried about how he would do against one of the best teams in the league.
“Out here dressed like a Jedi knight,” noted one fan.

“Finally! Giants fans been waiting… let’s see if Jameis can actually carry a team instead of just tweeting,” another fan commented.
“Jameis looks locked in and hungry, man. You can feel that “prove it” energy all over him. First start in New York, bright lights, big expectations — this is exactly the kind of moment he loves to show out in. Giants might be in for a wild one.” noted one X user.
“Jameis looks sharp and focused in that coat—ready to make an impact on the field!,” one person added.
“Nahhhh… This guy is Jedi.. The only problem is that I don’t have proof yet💆,” another person pointed out.
“Jameis just stepped into his first start with the Giants like he packed drama, energy, and chaos all in one helmet 😤🔥,” one X user tweeted.
Winston will be the man to watch in that game between the Packers and the Giants, as he will be the quarterback leading New York against one of the best teams in the league. This will be his first start of the season, with him taking over starting quarterback duties after rookie Jaxson Dart went down and is undergoing concussion protocol.
Jameis Winston Chosen To Start After Jaxson Dart Injury Over Former Super Bowl Winner Russell Wilson
Winston’s choice as the starter against the Green Bay Packers actually surprised many, as he was not the QB2, but the QB3. The one sitting at QB2 is former Seattle Seahawks superstar Russell Wilson, who once led the Seahawks to their first and only Super Bowl so far. However, Wilson has already been showing his age, so the team bypassed him and went to QB3 Jameis Winston to start in Darts’ stead.
This is also Winston’s first start since 2024, when he took over starting quarterback duties after Deshaun Watson’s season-ending Achilles tear. He is expected to stay with the team next season and continue as Jaxson Dart‘s backup after Wilson’s contract expires next year.
