Jakobi Meyers Contract: How Much Guaranteed Money Will Jaguars’ WR Make In Total?

Jakobi Meyers has just signed a contract extension with the Jacksonville Jaguars, which will earn him some $60 million, forty of which are guaranteed. The former Raiders and Patriots wide receiver arrived in Jacksonville halfway through the 2025 season, and he quickly became a favorite of the team and their most productive receiver.

Between the time played at Las Vegas and at Jacksonville this season, he has recorded 707 receiving yards in sixty catches with three touchdown receptions. None of those numbers is near the NFL’s best, but they are better than the second-best Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver, Brian Thomas Jr., who has 601 receiving yards, with two touchdown receptions in 39 catches.

When one considers that Meyers had been playing from the start of the season until the halfway mark for one of the worst teams in the league, it becomes all the more impressive.

His best season remains 2024, when he recorded 1027 receiving yards, with four touchdown catches for the Raiders.

    Jakobi Meyers Contract Details

Jakobi Meyers just signed a three-year, $60 million contract extension. Of those $60 million, $40 million is guaranteed for the player. The wide receiver is set to make an average of $20 million annually through the 2028 season.

Meyers had been playing on the last year of his three-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders and was set to become a free agent at the end of the season. The previous deal was worth $30 million.

When they traded for him, the Jacksonville Jaguars sent a fourth and sixth-round pick of next year’s NFL Draft to the Raiders to get him. This is Meyer’s third time, having started his career at the New England Patriots in 2019 as an undrafted free agent out of NC State. He was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders in 2023.
