It’s safe to say that Hanna and Haley Cavinder have completed their transition from student athletes to fitness influencers. Fitness has always been a central part of Haley, Jake Ferguson’s fiancée’s life, but now more than ever, she’s hard at work sharing her fitness journey alongside her twin sister.
This Friday morning, Haley Cavinder jumped on Instagram Stories to show herself hard at work doing functional training alongside her sister and fellow twins and fitness influencers @valdenefit.

The Cavinder twins closed out their collegiate basketball careers at Miami earlier this year, returning for a final year with the ‘Canes after a short-lived early retirement in 2023. They became one of the faces of the NIL revolution, and their return to the U in 2024-25 allowed them to propel their personal brand.
Their popularity also grew after they started dating football stars, with Haley having dated Dallas Cowboys’ tight end Jake Ferguson since September 2023. Hanna briefly dated the current Miami quarterback, Carson Beck, between July 2024 and April 2025.
Their social profile has risen, with them being seen rubbing shoulders with the likes of Kai Trump, a recent Miami golf commit, and President Donald Trump’s granddaughter at UFC 314.
Haley Cavinder On What Social Media Means To Her And Her Sister
In February, both Hanna and Haley Cavinder sat down with ESPN to talk about their last season at Miami. While both of them admitted that it wasn’t their best year athletically, they felt like they were becoming trailblazers in the NIL space and the use of social media to promote their brand.
However, at the time, Haley Cavinder felt it was important to also point out that social media isn’t real life and that people shouldn’t look for validation on it. For her, it’s just a business tool.
“That just kind of comes with what you put on the internet,” Haley said. “At the end of the day, it just kind of made us have tougher skin and understand, ‘I can’t look for approval from people that really don’t know me.’ I look at it as a business tool, my social media. How do I maximize and capitalize off of it in that way? Because that is a dark hole that social media brings, and that is hard at times, but also this is what helps us. This is our dream job.”
For all her talk that the season wasn’t a resounding success sports-wise, she did achieve her second Second Team All-ACC selection (2023, 2025). Those, alongside her Mountain West Player of the Year Award from 2021, are her major sporting accolades. She was also a three-time All-Mountain West Team selection (2020-2022), the Mountain West Freshman of the year in 2020, and a Mountain West All-Freshman Team that same year.
