It was a cold night at Lincoln Financial Field, requiring Detroit Lions wide receiver Jahmyr Gibbs’ girlfriend, Nicole, to show up wearing a custom team jacket to support. Before the game began, Gibbs shared a warm kiss with Nicole before going about his business.
Nicole also shared a story on Instagram where she can be seen doing pregame calls with a wide receiver. She was wearing a striking light-blue custom jacket featuring Lions-themed detailing.

Gibbs caught a team-high 12 receptions for just 39 yards in the team’s Monday Night Football 16-9 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Lions were not able to score in the first and third quarters, while the Eagles had a big 10-point second quarter, which proved to be the difference in the defense-dominated game.

The duo captured the aesthetic of James Cameron’s blockbuster universe.
Jahmyr Gibbs and Nicole started dating two years ago, shortly after the wide receiver joined the Detroit Lions through the draft. The couple went public with their relationship when Nicole published a TikTok video in May 2023, confirming the same. For the 2023 Halloween, they suited up as Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy.
Over the years, the couple has been to several popular places, including the Bahamas, Disney World, and Hawaii.
In an interview with People, Nicole doesn’t want her fans to follow her just because she is the girlfriend of Jahmyr Gibbs. She wants to create her own identity.
“When I do make my videos, I don’t say like, ‘Get ready with me like for my boyfriend’s game,'” she said. “I don’t try and use his name as a ‘Follow me.'”
Meanwhile, Gibbs hopes to overcome his rusty performance on MNF and do well in the Lions’ next game against the New York Giants.
