New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs has been a big part of the reason the team has had such a strong first half of the season. With the Patriots out to a 6-2 start, they appear like a contender to qualify for the playoffs. Diggs has done his part, making 42 receptions for 470 yards.
While those numbers are not equal to what he put up during some of his best seasons in Minnesota and Buffalo, they are still solid. Part of the reason he has not been able to perform at his previous level is do to injuries. While he has played every game, he has dealt with injuries throughout the year.
Diggs entered the season after suffering a torn ACL last year. He then appeared on the injury report in late October with a chest injury, being a limited participant at many practices. However, it has not affected his availability. This week, he no longer has a chest injury, but he appeared on the injury report regardless.
Diggs was limited at practice on Wednesday because of an ankle injury. Fortunately for the Patriots, he was a full participant at practice on Thursday. As a result, he is expected to play for the Patriots on Sunday when they take on the Atlanta Falcons.

The New England Patriots Have Thrived Despite Stefon Diggs’ Injury Concerns
Health has been an issue for Stefon Diggs this season, but it has not impacted the team much. While Diggs is still relied on as a top wide receiver, he is no longer one of the top receiving options in the league. He is a good WR who can put up star performances, but consistency is no longer something he can provide.
Regardless, the Patriots are in a good position to qualify for the playoffs. Despite still being a young team, they sit first in their division with a 6-2 record. The Bills are behind them with a 5-2 record. Both teams will likely continue to perform until the end of the season. As a result, the game between the two teams on Dec. 14 could be incredibly important.
