Cincinnati Bengals superstar quarterback Joe Burrow has struggled with injuries throughout his career, and this season has been no different. In the second game of the year, Burrow went down with a turf toe injury and has been out ever since. At the time of his injury, it was unclear whether he would be able to return this season.
However, as reports have come out in recent weeks, it has been revealed that Burrow’s recovery has been progressing well. As a result, there is a belief from the Bengals that Burrow will return in the next game or two. Joe Burrow Injury Update
On Wednesday morning, NFL insider Ian Rapoport appeared on “Good Morning Football.” He gave updates on three key quarterbacks: Pittsburgh’s Aaron Rodgers, Houston’s CJ Stroud, and Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow. When speaking about Burrow, Rapoport indicated when Burrow is targeting to return.
“Joe Burrow this week begins another week of practice. He is dealing with that grade-three turf toe, trying to recover from it. Not gonna play this week, I don’t believe,” Ian Rapoport said. “Really, the target for Burrow in his mind is the Thanksgiving Day game against the Ravens.
“Thanksgiving night game. We’ll see if he’s able to get back there, it’d be awfully quick. Maybe a better chance in the following week against the Bills, but the Bengals, still technically alive, are hoping Burrow returns.”

While Joe Burrow is not expected to return on Sunday against New England, he should return soon. His target is to return the following Thursday against Baltimore.
When is Joe Burrow Expected To Be Back?
Joe Burrow is expected to return in the next few weeks. Ian Rapoport indicated that Burrow wants to return on Thanksgiving against the Ravens. If he does not return then, he is fully expected to be back the following Sunday when the Bengals take on the Buffalo Bills. The Bengals will try to stay in the playoff hunt with Burrow still expected to be out this weekend.
