Wide receiver Drake London and the Atlanta Falcons are scheduled to take on the struggling Atlanta Falcons on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. The Falcons are looking to get back on track after a 20-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers last week. Unfortunately for London and the Falcons, it appears unlikely that he will be available on Sunday against Miami.
London battled a shoulder injury early in the season and has now added a hip issue heading into Week 8. He appeared on the Atlanta Falcons’ injury report on Friday with a hip issue. He was a limited participant in practice and listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.
Heading into the game on Sunday, London’s status was still uncertain a few hours before the game. However, at around 11:30 p.m. ET, the Falcons released their full list of inactive players for the game against the Dolphins. Drake London appeared on the list, confirming that he will be out of action on Sunday.
London appeared in all six of the Falcons’ games so far this season despite battling a shoulder injury. In those games, he made 38 receptions on 63 targets for 469 yards and two TDs.

When Will Drake London Return for the Atlanta Falcons?
As things stand, an official timeline on Drake London’s return has not been announced by the Atlanta Falcons. It was confirmed that London is out shortly before the team’s matchup with the Miami Dolphins. As a result, the coaching staff had not had time to comment. Fans should expect the media to ask head coach Raheem Morris about London’s status after the game. However, until then, it is difficult to judge when he will return.
Since it was not confirmed until shortly before the game that London is out, there is hope that London’s injury will not keep him out long-term. However, in the meantime, fans can expect Darnell Mooney, David Sillis V, and Casey Washington to get more targets.
