The Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons are competing in what should be an interesting matchup on Sunday. It is a unique game in that it is being held in Germany as part of the promotional set of games the NFL is holding in Europe this year. It will kick off at 9:30 a.m. ET.
While there is a lot to look forward to in this game, neither team is entering it fully healthy. Here we will look at the players who will be inactive for this matchup because of injuries.
Indianapolis Colts vs Atlanta Falcons Inactives Today
Indianapolis Colts Inactives Today
The Indianapolis Colts have done well this season. The resurgence of quarterback Daniel Jones has helped them achieve a 7-2 record, putting them firmly in the playoff race. However, they will still need to pick up a few more wins this year to secure a playoff spot. Unfortunately for them, their team is not fully healthy heading into their Week 10 matchup against the Falcons. They have seven players listed as inactive in Week 10:
- DE Samson Ebukam
- RB DJ Giddens
- WR Anthony Gould
- DE Tyquan Lewis
- S Reuben Lowery
- TE Will Mallory
- OT Luke Tenuta
Ekubam and Lewis were ruled out of the game on Thursday because of their injuries. Gould was initially listed as questionable but was downgraded on Saturday, making it the second game in a row he will miss. Giddens will miss his third straight game.
Atlanta Falcons Inactives Today
The Atlanta Falcons have struggled this season for several reasons. Injuries have impacted them and quarterback play has limited their offense. Heading into this game against the Colts, they have a 3-5 record. They also have seven players listed as inactive in Week 10:
- CB Mike Hughes
- S Jordan Fuller
- EDGE Leonard Floyd
- OL Andrew Stueber
- G Matthew Bergeron
- OL Joshua Gray
- DL LaCale London
Bergeron, Floyd, and Norton were ruled out of this game early on. However, they needed to make a decision on two starters before the team’s game on Sunday: Chris Lindstrom and Mike Hughes. Both were listed as questionable. Lindstrom was confirmed to be in the game, but Hughes was ruled out.
