Deion Sanders and his girlfriend, actress and socialite Karrueche Tran, were in attendance on Sunday afternoon to see Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns beat the Pittsburgh Steelers at home. The game is just Shedeur’s second victory in the NFL, after taking over starting duties for the Browns in late November.
“Well Off Media”, the YouTube channel of Deion Sanders’ oldest son, Deion Sanders Jr., did a full coverage of the encounter. During a section of the video, he conducted an impromptu short interview with Coach and Prime, as well as Tran, in the tunnels of Huntington Bank Field. He went for a holiday-themed question when talking with Karrueche Tran, asking her about her Christmas, to which she replied:
“My Christmas was amazing. I got some really great gifts… And I got to spend some quality time with the Sanders family and my family, too.” (3:30)
As Tran spoke about her Christmas presents, Deion Sanders interjected.
“Sure did… I got them all on layaway,” said Sanders in a playful tone
It’s not surprising that someone with a $60 million net worth, like Deion Sanders, would deliver great gifts.
Tran and Sanders have been officially dating since 2025. Exactly when they started seeing each other is unknown, but it has come to light that the actress was extremely close to Prime when he was battling cancer in the late spring and summer. Videos from that time show her alongside the Colorado coach during his period outside the public eye while he was recovering.
Kevin Stefanski Praises The Browns As Deion Sanders’ Son, Shedeur Sanders, Leads Them To Victory
Sunday’s game didn’t mean much for the Cleveland Browns’ future, as their season has, for all intents and purposes, been over for a while now. Maybe there was a bit of interest in extending the Pittsburgh Steelers’ postseason chase, as their defeat paired with the Baltimore Ravens’ victory on Saturday means both teams will play an all-or-nothing early playoff encounter in Week 18.
Regardless, the game was a huge morale boost for the team. After all, beating a division rival is always nice:
“It’s just our DNA, obviously,” Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said of Cleveland’s win. “We can talk about the big picture later, but in the meantime, small picture, division opponent in front of us. They love playing together. They love playing next to, you know, their brothers, and that’s just what we’re about.”
Despite the victory, there are still several things to improve with the Browns’ offense. For one, Shedeur Sanders threw only for 186 yards, with one touchdown and worrisomely two interceptions. His completion percentage left a good taste in the mouth, being a solid 73.9%.
