Getting Defensive Week 13: Top Defenses to Stream for a Crucial Fantasy Playoff Push

The end of the fantasy season is here. Whether your team is in the playoff race or not, everyone is trying to get a win. Every roster spot is probably going to matter down the last stretch of the season. Defense is no different. If your team doesn’t have a solid defense anchoring your roster, this is the perfect time to get one.

    Top Streaming Defenses Week 13

    Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers have the pleasure of taking on the Raiders. Whatever Las Vegas had planned this year has totally gone in the wrong direction. The Raiders constantly turn the ball over. Ashton Jeanty could potentially miss this week. The Chargers should be able to be in a good spot.

    Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This is a shocker for most after the Rams bashed the Bucs on Sunday Night. This week should be different for Tampa. They have the Cardinals. While Arizona has been flashy at times, it still gives opposing defenses plenty of fantasy points. The Bucs are also great at getting turnovers despite how many points they keep letting up. Matchup-wise it should be a great bounce-back spot for the Bucs.

    Miami Dolphins

It’s surprising to see a Miami recommendation, but the Dolphins are in a good spot. They take on the Saints. The Dolphins have been able to get points on the board from a fantasy perspective and could have a breakout game this week. No Alvin Kamara in this one either. Say what you want about the Dolphins, but it should be a safe option for the week.

    Jacksonville Jaguars

The roller coaster of the NFL. The Jacksonville Jaguars. It is honestly hard to imagine how frustrated Duval fans are this year. They are either a great team or a top 5 draft pick team, and nobody knows which version you’re going to get. The Titans are up next for Jacksonville, and while they have improved, they still are playable. Going with the grab the team that is playing the worst team in the NFL, play for this last one.

    Bottom Line

Defenses don’t seem like they are going to do a lot for a fantasy matchup, but those extra 8-10 points could be huge. That could be the difference between heading to the playoffs and missing them altogether. If defense is a weak spot on your team, all of these teams are valid options that are probably available in your league. Get those points, get the win, and move on to another week.
