Tonight, the Dallas Cowboys take on the Detroit Lions in a pivotal NFC showdown between two teams that are fighting for a wildcard playoff spot as of right now.
The Lions enter tonight’s game with a 7-5 record as the Cowboys carry in a 6-5-1 record. The Cowboys bring in some momentum with them, entering tonight’s contest on a three-game win streak while Detroit has lost two of its last three games.
As both teams have been preparing on a short week, each team has had their fair shares of player pop up on the injury report. Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens appeared on the injury report this week. Let’s explore why and what his status is for tonight’s game.

George Pickens has been nursing a nagging calf and knee injury. The Cowboys star wide receiver suffered the injuries in practices from last week leading up to the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day game against the Kansas City Chiefs. He did not miss the game as a result.
