George Kittle and his wife Claire once again reminded fans why they’re one of the NFL’s favorite couples. Following the San Francisco 49ers’ 34-24 win over the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium, Claire Kittle shared a carousel of photos on Instagram capturing her experience at the game.
The pictures showed her cheering from the sidelines, posing in 49ers colors, and celebrating another memorable weekend supporting her husband. In her caption, Claire reflected on her journey of visiting stadiums across the NFL to watch her husband play.
She revealed that she now has just one venue left on her list before she completes her goal of seeing him compete in every NFL stadium. The post showcased how much time and effort she dedicates to following George’s career, emphasizing the bond they share both on and off the field.
“& what a weekend it was,” Claire WROTE. “I officially only have one more NFL stadium left on the list to watch @gkittle play in.”

Amid the flood of fan comments and congratulatory messages, George Kittle himself left a short but heartwarming response. His four-word comment instantly caught fans’ attention.
“You are my favorite,” Kittle wrote.

On the field, Kittle continues to be a major contributor for the 49ers. Through nine games this season, San Francisco sits at 6-3, leading the NFC West race after a string of strong performances. Kittle remains one of Brock Purdy’s most reliable targets and a key piece in Kyle Shanahan’s offense.
His blocking, energy, and leadership have been vital as the 49ers push for another playoff run after last season’s disappointing finish.
George Kittle on the MetLife Turf
Kittle also made headlines this week for his comments about the playing surface at MetLife Stadium. He expressed frustration over the turf conditions, joining a growing list of players who have raised concerns about safety there.
Kittle noted that several athletes have suffered injuries on the same field in recent years, calling for the league to take stronger action. He pointed out that inconsistent field standards between venues can create unnecessary risk for players.
According to him, every NFL team deserves a safe, high-quality surface regardless of location. His remarks reignited debate around artificial turf versus natural grass, an issue that has gained traction following multiple injury incidents.
“I feel like all fields should have a level of safety to it,” Kittle SAID. “I just don’t get why there’s not a standard for, hey, you’ve got to pick between one or two turfs. There shouldn’t be 12 different turfs. And 12 different grass fields and then a couple guys have the same things.”
“I just think that’s weird. Most other sports, it’s not like basketball players play on different hardwood. That’s all the same. Soccer players in Europe all play on really nice grass. That’s just weird to me,” he added.

“When someone’s field is the butt of a joke around all of social media constantly, on every NFL meme page, and everybody jokes about how bad it is, I feel like at that point, someone should just take a look at it. No NFL field should be the… pic.twitter.com/xjlE0bK8uz
