The New York Jets’ offensive struggles boiled over in London versus the Denver Broncos, and it unfolded for everyone to see on the sideline with Garrett Wilson, the star wide-receiver on the team, caught on camera as he appeared to have a verbal spat with head coach Aaron Glenn for all to see as the teams headed into halftime with the Jets trailing the Broncos 10-6.

The incident that triggered Wilson’s visible frustration occurred immediately after yet another failed Jets drive. The Jets had the offense on the field, contained time and momentum to build on. Instead, the Jets floundered once again, and Wilson had obviously had enough.
Aaron Glenn and Justin Fields let the clock run down after having 20+ seconds to run a play on 4th down. Why is an 0-5 team not being aggressive there? That whole drive was terrible clock management in this Broncos vs Jets NFL game in London. pic.twitter.com/t4zd7VS8kn

By halftime, Wilson was practically invisible in an offense that clearly needed his ability to make plays. In the first half of play, Wilson accumulated little to no production, which every Jet fan is remiss to overlook, given this Jets player’s resume to this point; entering the game, he had produced 382 receiving yards and four touchdowns this season for the Jets, and this first half surely didn’t match that type of production.
Jets Hold Narrow 11-10 Lead Over Broncos After Third Quarter
Adding insult to injury for Wilson was the beginning of the game. The Jets’ first two drives were three-and-outs, and Wilson’s receiver could not find the ball on either possession.
Wilson finally got his first chance on the fourth drive, but the pass went incomplete due to poor quarterback play. He had his first catch in the fifth series, but it was for only two yards.
Moving forward, Glenn must figure out how to get Wilson into the game. The New York Jets are up 11-10 on the Denver Broncos as the third quarter has ended.
