New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson has been out with a knee injury since Oct. 12. The Jets struggled before he was out, and they have struggled since. The passing offense has been even worse without him, as Wilson was at least able to be a dynamic threat for the team. Fortunately for the Jets, Wilson could be returning soon.
Garrett Wilson Injury Update
Garrett Wilson had been sidelined with a knee injury for nearly a month. However, the Jets got good news this week as he was able to participate in practice with the team on both Wednesday and Thursday. He was a limited participant in both practices, but it is a good sign that he was on the field with his teammates. As things stand, it has not been 100% confirmed one way or the other whether he will play on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
Is Garrett Wilson Playing Week 10?
While there has not been a confirmation that Garrett Wilson will play on Sunday, Wilson seems confident it will happen. On Thursday after practice, Wilson spoke with reporters and told them that he feels great and is good to go for Sunday.
“Garrett Wilson (knee) says he feels great and he’s good to go for Sunday.”

This information will likely be further confirmed if he is upgraded to a full participant at practice on Friday. If not, there is still a chance he could miss Sunday’s game and return the following week.
Garrett Wilson Fantasy Outlook
When healthy, Garrett Wilson is a star wide receiver who is capable of being a good fantasy option. However, the biggest issue for Wilson is he is playing on one of the worst teams in the league. While he is a good player, he does not have a quarterback who can consistently get him the ball. As a result, his stats have been underwhelming during the games he played compared to some other receivers.
While that is the case, Wilson is still a player who is worthy of starting in most fantasy leagues.
