“Fire Kevin Stefanski” Call Mounts From Fans as Browns’ Offense Unravels Early in Week 15 vs. Bears

The Cleveland Browns are off to a rough start in their Week 15 game against the Chicago Bears. Quarterback Caleb Williams led the Bears to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. Meanwhile, the Browns’ offense was shut down completely till halftime as they struggled to get near the endzone.

With the Browns already 3-10 on the season entering this game, it didn’t take long for fans to start calling out their head coach, Kevin Stefanski.

“Fire kevin stefanski,” one fan wrote.

“Are we trying to tank? We’re trying to tank right? That’s the only explanation for the absolute SHIT SHOW thats on my TV right now. Fire Kevin Stefanski at Half Time. Dont even let his bum ass finish this game 💯” another fan added.

“Yup get my guy Shedeur off the Browns that’s a s*it show all around unless they fire Kevin Stefanski!” one fan commented.

“There’s zero reason to keep Kevin Stefanski after today. This team couldn’t have been less prepared to play. What good comes from keeping him around? Fire him immediately after this game,” one fan wrote.

“That is an insane thing to say. Six wins in two years is what we’re looking at. This team is undisciplined every single week they’re on the field. You believe he deserves year 7? Stop it,” another fan said.

“Fire him at halftime,” one fan reacted.

At the time of writing (10:03 minutes remaining in the third quarter), the Browns’ offense has only managed 72 total yards, out of which 22 are rushing yards. On the other hand, the Bears have managed almost three times, 251 yards in total.

Kevin Stefanski Feels Good About Shedeur Sanders

Shedeur Sanders’ performance in the NFL so far has been a mixed bag. He became the first Browns quarterback in a while to win in his first professional start for the franchise. However, the win against the Raiders was followed by back to back losses against the San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans.

Before this Sunday’s game, Sanders has thrown passes at the rate of 52.4% for 769 yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions. Despite the underwhelming results, coach Kevin Stefanski feels good about continuing with Sanders.

“He has constantly and consistently gotten better in each one of these games and how he’s approached this game,” Stefanski said. “He’s been working very hard, so I feel good about where his development is heading. He knows there are always going to be plays that he can be better and those types of things. But he’s very intentional about getting better each and every game he’s out there.”

The Browns wants result and Shedeur Sanders will need to make sure he’s the one who delivers so that he can remain the QB1 for the team.
