Fans Rally With “Fire John Harbaugh” Messages Before Steelers vs Ravens Kickoff Amid Head Coaching Change Rumors

Under John Harbaugh, the Baltimore Ravens have won the Super Bowl and have become one of the most feared teams in the league. However, he has not replicated that same success he had from Super Bowl XLVII, even with two-time MVP Lamar Jackson leading the team, and fans are not happy about this.

The Ravens are in a must-win against the Pittsburgh Steelers for a spot in the NFL playoffs, and if they win, they win the AFC North, and if they lose, they are out of the playoffs. It has been a disappointing season mostly for the Ravens, who entered the season as one of the favorites to make a deep run and even make it to the Super Bowl.

Some fans are even calling for the coach to be fired should they lose. Meanwhile, others are just hoping that the Ravens would win and head to the playoffs.

“If you lose fire John harbaugh,” said one fan.

“FIRE HARBAUGH,” one fan tweeted in all caps.

“Winning today is great but, what good is it to turn around and take a giant shit at home in 7 days. They need to win at least next 2 games to make me feel OK about off season. Lose any of those 2 game and all bets are off on this team meeting the grinder.,” one wary fan stated.

“LFG!!!… Let’s give it our all… This is the moment we have been waiting for… We deserve to be in the playoffs… The North is ours… Make Steelers feel the pain… Let’s Fucking Go!!! For the North!” said one optimistic fan.

“Let’s ride!!! Nothing but positive supportive attitudes today fellow fans! Let’s raise our players up and encourage them!!! Let’s do this Flock!!” another Ravens fan commented.

“Can yall show up 1 time and play a god damn bully ball game and smash someone? Or is this team just ass?” asked one fan.

NFL Insider Says John Harbaugh Unlikely To Be Fired

As for whether or not John Harbaugh will get fired, NFL insider Tom Pelissero believes that win or lose against the Steelers, the Ravens organization is unlikely to fire the coach that has brought them Super Bowl glory.

“I do not have any indication right now that John Harbaugh is in danger of being fired. That would really surprise me,” NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero said. There’s a reason [Ravens owner] Steve Bisciotti has stuck with him for 18 seasons and running now. But clearly there are things they need to talk through here when you’re coming off a disappointing season to this point. This could still take a turn if they play like they did last week in Green Bay.”

That being said, should Harbaugh actually be fired, a lot of teams will be waiting to scoop him up, such as the New York Giants or even teams that are rumored to be firing their head coaches soon, such as the Cleveland Browns.
