Not so long ago, Lamar Jackson was considered one of the most dangerous quarterbacks the NFL had to offer, and the Baltimore Ravens had seen for years, on the brink of making the Super Bowl. That spell was broken this season, as the quarterback and the franchise overall have struggled to find consistency.

The signal-caller’s decline seems to have reached its zenith this weekend, as he struggled mightily against the New York Jets, one of the weakest teams in the league with a record of 2-8. Fans, particularly fantasy players, were not amused at the most recent turn in Lamar Jackson’s career.
“Lamar Jackson is single handed destroying my fantasy team is beyond me. I will never draft this bum again,” wrote one fan.
“Lamar Jackson struggling against the 2-8 JETS! Throw this Raven’s season away,” complained someone.
“Why do I continue to start Lamar Jackson in fantasy,” said a dumbfounded fan.
“So Lamar Jackson is useless in fantasy football now. Cool cool,” joked another person.
Others thought that Jackson’s struggles were not of his own making.
“Watching Lamar Jackson not destroying a defense with his legs because he’s clearly playing injured breaks my heart bro,” said another fan.
Others took a similar view, but predicted a dark future for Jackson.
“I’ve said this since he came in the league and through all the constant glazing: Lamar Jackson is an average QB at best. And when he loses his mobility after 30 he’ll be a bum just like Russell Wilson,” explained a fan.
Do the Baltimore Ravens deserve to go to the postseason?
“Lamar Jackson has been so damn ass this season they don’t deserve the playoffs for shit,” proclaimed someone.
“wtf happened to Lamar Jackson #FantasyFootball,” said a disheartened fan.
Lamar Jackson’s Numbers Against The New York Jets
With less than a quarter left in the game against the Jets, Lamar Jackson’s numbers are less than encouraging, with merely 153 passing yards and a completion percentage of 56.2%.
Some might say that at least he has a safe pair of hands and hasn’t caused any turnover. However, while he didn’t throw any interceptions, he did fumble the ball once but managed to recover it immediately.
The Ravens ultimately won the game 23-10 on the back of field goals and two touchdowns by running back Derrick Henry.
