Fantasy Football Week 9: Top 5 Kickers Who Could Deliver Big Points This Week Ft. Brandon Aubrey

Week 9 is officially upon us, and we are now in the year’s colder months. November is just around the corner. With the combination of outdoor stadiums and changing weather, fantasy owners should watch out for their kickers.

While there are many indoor stadiums in the NFL, there is still a chance that a few missed kicks in some snow could be the difference between a championship and second place. Here are the Week 9 top 5 kickers for fantasy football.

Top 5 Kickers for Week 9

    1. Brandon Aubrey (Cowboys)

Aubrey is a must-start in just about any league with his range and the fact that the Cowboys are playing at a high level right now. This week, Dallas takes on Arizona in what should be a high-scoring affair as neither defense is the strongest in the league. AT&T Stadium is also indoors, which gives even more juice for Aubrey to be No. 1 this week.

    2. Cameron Dicker (Chargers)

Dicker is the third-ranked kicker in fantasy this year, putting up double digits in three games so far this season. This week, the Chargers take on the Titans, which should be an easy Los Angeles win. The Titans defense is nothing to write home about, and Dicker should have plenty of opportunities to get some points on the board.

    3. Tyler Loop (Ravens)

Lamar Jackson is back, and so should the Ravens offense. Therefore, Tyler Loop should get plenty of shots after a 13-point finish last week. This game is also in Miami and should be ideal weather for Loop to have another double-digit game.

    4. Ka’imi Fairbairn (Texans)

Fairbairn is coming off a great game last week, where he was able to grab 14 fantasy points against the Steelers. Now the Texans take on a tough Broncos defense that is known to find ways to get stops. Fairbairn could be doing a lot of kicking in this one.

    5. Jason Myers (Seahawks)

Jason Myers will be the last pick in the top 5 as the Seahawks take on the Commanders on Sunday night. The Commanders have had four kickers put up double-digit fantasy numbers on them, and the Seahawks offense seems to have found itself over the past few weeks. Myers should have plenty of chances to get a few scores and potentially another double-digit letdown for the Commanders.

    Bottom Line

Kickers are often the last part of the lineup that fantasy owners are worried about, and most of the time, that is sound thinking. Although with the season coming into an important stretch, having a kicker that could add 10 more points could be a huge flip in weekly matchups. If these five kickers are available or on your team, get them in the starting lineup to potentially put up big numbers in Week 9.
