Fantasy Football Start ’Em Sit ’Em WR Week 16: Sleepers, Busts, And Must-Start Players Ft Michael Wilson

Playoffs. It’s now all or nothing for managers if they want to keep their teams alive. As always, every point scored could truly be the difference between winning and losing. For now, we start by getting your receivers in the right spot. This is the full start ’em and sit ’em for Week 16.

    Start ‘Em

    Michael Wilson, Cardinals

Wilson is the hot hand in the receiver position. He has had multiple games with double digit scoring and has gone from a sleeper to a must-start player. If Marvin Harrison is out for another game, then Wilson should be in another prime position against the Falcons this week.

    Ladd McConkey, Chargers

It is almost weekly that receivers who are playing against the Cowboys are making this column. This week, it is no different as McConkey gets the nod playing one of the worst defenses in the league. While he hasn’t been great lately, the matchup is just too good. McConkey is a solid sleeper going into Week 16.

    DK Metcalf, Steelers

Metcalf looks like he is back in prime shape after multiple double-digit weeks. The key here is that Aaron Rodgers is starting to look like himself again after starting the season off pretty slow. The Lions’ defense has been getting torched through the air as well. Metcalf is a must start this week.

    Sit ‘Em

    Michael Pittman Jr., Colts

This could honestly go for any of the Colts’ receivers right now, but Pittman seems to have gotten the worst of it. The Niners are coming into town. That, paired with Rivers not back in his old form, is just an easy bust read.

    Deebo Samuel, Commanders

Now that Terry McLaurin is back, Samuel seems to have come back to earth. He hasn’t gone over 10 points in the majority of his latest games, either. The Eagles have been getting stronger and stronger in the secondary. For this week, Samuel can stay on the bench.

    Brian Thomas Jr., Jaguars

The Broncos’ defense is just lighting it up right now. Any owner just shouldn’t feel too confident starting a receiver or QB against them. This week, Thomas Jr. follows that same idea. While he has been pretty good of late, it just isn’t worth the risk in the fantasy playoffs.

    Bottom Line

Skill positions have always been the main driver of points in fantasy. If you have two solid receivers this week, it could be the reason that a win is possible. Every decision matters, so make it count. Good luck in another round of fantasy playoffs.
