Playoff time! It can’t be a better time of year. NFL is in full swing, and the fantasy playoffs are here. If you’re in the playoffs, you know that every single game moving forward is going to matter. Let’s get you set this week, starting with your running backs.
Start ‘Em
Chase Brown, Bengals
The Bills‘ defense is solid overall. Against the run, though, not so much. They rank near the bottom of the league, and Chase Brown is coming into town. Brown has been one of the more consistent backs in fantasy and should have plenty of work this week. Burrow just got back. While Bengal fans want him to go and go now, Brown should get a similar volume number this week.
Jordan Mason, Vikings
Mason was a player who could have been a serious boost if you got him on waivers. With Aaron Jones Sr. in and out for a while now, Mason has taken the role and done well in it. With the Vikings issue behind center, Mason should be looking at a nice week again. The Vikings play the Commanders this week as a boosted benefit. Mason could have a day.
Bucky Irving, Buccaneers
Buck just got back, so it was safe to be casual last week. But against the Falcons, Irving looked back to normal with Tucker taking the backseat in the running game. A big game against the Saints could be next.
Sit ‘Em
Woody Marks, Texans
Marks being on this list has nothing to do with him. It’s simply the Chiefs on the other side and the lack of injuries for the Texans. Houston has gotten back to health, opening their passing game. Chubb is also splitting carries in the backfield. Paired with a stingy Chiefs front seven, Marks is just a no-go this week.
Zonovan Knight, Cardinals
Knight has had a good run for the Cardinals. This week, they play the Rams. After LA got gutted by Carolina last week, their defense should come alive. Knight is just too much of a risk in playoff conditions to start.
Ashton Jeanty, Raiders
It is almost too easy to add a Raiders player to this list. They are just downright struggling to get anywhere. The Broncos’ front line is playing pretty well, and Jeanty could easily struggle to grab 10 points.
Bottom Line
RB1 and RB2 are probably the most important positions in the playoffs. They can either go for total bad games or total winners. If you’re going to win, it’s going to start by finding matchups that put the best players in. Remember from here on out, it’s win and move on.
