Fans Troll Travis Hunter’s ‘Make-A-Wish’ First Career TD in Blowout Loss to Rams

Travis Hunter, the Jacksonville Jaguars’ two-way sensation, hauled in a 34-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Trevor Lawrence during the fourth quarter of Sunday’s Week 7 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. The play came at Wembley Stadium, marking Hunter’s first career touchdown.

However, the timing of it was the point of discussion amongst fans on X as the Jaguars were already trailing 28-7 at the time of the Touchdown, which resulted in a mere consolation touchdown for Hunter.

Fans mercilessly trolled Hunter’s Consolation touchdown on X:

“Travis Hunter awarded a make-a-wish td in garbage time while his team done 28 lol I laughed man”, stated a fan.

“Trevor Lawrence finally realized that it’s okay to throw to Travis Hunter “, wrote a fan whilst sharing a hilarious Drake GIF.

“No way the announcer said travis hunter was dropping his huggies. What in the patronizing hell is that. This is a grown ass man tf”, remarked a fan.

Meanwhile a certain section of fans on X didn’t leave the opportunity to troll Trevor Lawrence:

“Trevor Lawrence just figured out Travis Hunter is on his team”, said a fan.

“Trevor Lawrence saw the trade rumors and finally got Travis Hunter the ball”, hilariously commented a fan.

“Travis Hunter wide open? Perfect I’ll just spin into a sack – Trevor Lawrence”, remarked another fan.

Hunter, entering this game, had accumulated 20 receptions for 197 yards, and his first NFL touchdown came in the most anticlimactic fashion imaginable.

Rams Dominate Early and Cruise to a 35-7 Victory

When Hunter received that pass, the score was 28-7. The Rams were well on their way to a prominent victory, which would become a 35-7 route.

The Los Angeles Rams had this game signed, sealed, and delivered from the opening kickoff. They led 21-0 by halftime, then coasted through the second half without much resistance. Veteran receiver Davante Adams starred in the show, catching three touchdown receptions as the Rams scored five touchdowns on the afternoon.
