Where Jalen Hurts’ Eagles Stand in NFL Playoff Picture?

As we head into the business end of the season, the Eagles have once again almost secured a playoff spot. They lead the NFC East with an 8-4 record. Overall, in the NFC, they are the third seed behind the Chicago Bears and the Los Angeles Rams.

Their playoff odds are very high, almost 95%. However, their odds of finishing at the top of the NFC have dropped significantly over the last few weeks. They are now below 20%.

The Eagles have lost the last two games and their offense has been underwhelming. Ahead of the game, Hurts said the team needs to find a way to win despite chaos in terms of usage on offense.

“I think we got a lot of opportunity in front of us,” he said. “It takes a tight-knit group, it takes a collective, and all of those things are things that we can control. You never run from accountability, you never run from owning the things that you can control.”

“There are a lot of things that we can improve on, a lot of things that we have done well in the past,” Hurts said. “There are a lot of things that we do well now. We just have to be more consistent in that, better define the things that we want to do so that it’s clear for everyone and everyone is on the same page.”

The Eagles will hope to snap their two-game losing streak.
