Taylor Swift’s time at Arrowhead Stadium last Sunday was anything but typical. The star singer and performer arrived to support fiancé Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs for their game against the Philadelphia Eagles. However, it was Swift’s entry that attracted everyone’s interest and fueled a flood of virtual discontent.
A video that went viral very quickly on X showed a large, black rolling partition.

The mobile wall was escorted by a team of security. They moved deliberately through the stadium, surrounding a person who was thought to be Swift. This led many fans to doubt how necessary the extreme involvement was.

On an Instagram post shared by TMZ, fans poured in their reactions.
“Ain’t nobody after you. Just looking for attention,” commented a fan
“how can I make this about me,” mockingly stated a fan.
“Girl aint nobody checking for you 😂,” remarked a fan.
“The fact that Taylor even has to do this and yet it’s not a wake up call for America, just baffles me,” said a fan.
“U safe lady trust me 😂,” commented another fan.
“She’s not that important,” bluntly remarked another fan.
“So ridiculously unnecessary,” stated a fan.
“I dont see what Charlie kirk and Taylor swift have to do with each other,” said a fan.
A report from TMZ identified the partition as a “bullet resistant portable shield partition.” This shielding equipment reportedly retails for around $6,000.
The timing of this security presentation is hard to overlook. It occurred only a few days after the murder of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. Kirk was killed on September 10 during a speech at Utah Valley University, which has been reported to be the reason for Swift’s increased security.
Analyst Calls Out Kelce’s Performance Post Chiefs’ 20-17 Loss To Eagles
Although Taylor Swift and her bulletproof barrier attracted a lot of attention, the Kansas City Chiefs once again suffered a loss as the game ended with a score of 20-17 in favor of the Philadelphia Eagles on September 14, to drop the Chiefs to 0-2 on the season.
The national spotlight has fallen directly on star tight end Travis Kelce, who has made headlines with some uncharacteristically poor play of late, which has even caught the attention of NFL insider Trey Wingo.
Wingo, to the point, ended up saying (as reported by MARCA):
“Travis Kelce is killing the Chiefs right now,” while calling out the veteran’s bad play during the Chiefs’ early-season struggles.
Most importantly, a consequence of the play was during the Chiefs’ 20-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Certainly, Kelce only had 4 total catches for 61 total yards, but will be remembered for his disastrous drop in the fourth quarter in the red zone that led to an easy interception and, essentially, sealed the defeat.
