“Called the Browns Complete Idiots”: Fans Left in Splits as Mike Tomlin Shares Honest Reaction To Joe Flacco’s Bengals Trade

The Cleveland Browns traded yet another quarterback as they dealt former Super Bowl champion Joe Flacco to the Cincinnati Bengals in exchange for a fifth-round pick. The Bengals also received a sixth-round pick.

Flacco was the Browns’ starting quarterback, but after he went 1-3 in his first four games, they changed the guard replacing Flacco with their third-round pick rookie Dillon Gabriel.

Despite Gabriel registering a loss against the Minnesota Vikings in his debut NFL start, the Browns thought they no longer need the services of Flacco, knowing they even have fifth-round pick Shedeur Sanders waiting.

In the wake of this development, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin expressed shock, saying:

“Andrew Berry must be a lot smarter than me, or us, because it doesn’t make sense to me to trade a QB you think enough of to make your opening day starter to a division opponent that’s hurting in that area.”

Most fans agreed with Tomlin and shared hilarious reactions. One fan wrote:

“Tomlin just called the browns complete idiots but we been saying this since April😭😭”

“Bro throwing shade at the worst GM in the NFL😭” another fan wrote.

“He trolling now you love to see it,” one fan added.

“😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 sooo the browns always have and always will be a poverty a** team is what he said,” another fan added.

“Tomlin kicking the Browns a** and then BURYING Andrew Berry,” one fan wrote.

“Mike Tomlin hitched his wagon to a QB who can’t beat a team with a good QB,” one fan commented.

Joe Flacco Inserted Into Starting Role Immediately by Bengals But Results Remain Same

The Bengals made the move as Joe Burrow will miss “at least three months” with his Grade 3 turf toe injury. In Burrow’s absence, Jake Browning hasn’t been able to produce wins, leading to calls for a change at the helm.

After Joe Flacco joined the Bengals, he was immediately inserted into the starting role. He started in Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers, completing 29 of 45 passes for 219 yards and two touchdowns. While the team ultimately lost 27-18, there is atleast hope among the Bengals fans they can turn the season around with the former Super Bowl champion leading them on the field.

It remains to be seen if Flacco can change the results or gets traded before the Nov. 4 deadline.
